Wooden Multiplication Table Puzzle (1×1–10×10) – Montessori-Inspired Learning Board (6+)

Description

A multiplication table that works through experience

This Montessori-inspired wooden puzzle is designed so that children learn multiplication not by mechanical repetition, but by placing pieces and discovering. Every correctly placed piece is a small victory – and that is how solid, automatic recall of times tables is built.

How to play and learn

The child picks up a product piece (e.g. 7×8 = 56) and finds its place on the board. If they make a mistake and discover that the piece doesn’t fit because it belongs elsewhere, they simply try again. This is hands-on learning: mistakes become part of the process, and understanding comes through action.

Who is it for

• Children aged 6–7+ who are starting to learn their times tables.
• Teachers, as a clear teaching resource for the class and individual tasks.
• Home learning and homeschooling.
